Renting a trailer for an event or a project
Not everyone renting a travel trailer is going camping.
Some people need a place to sleep for one weekend. A wedding at a family place with nowhere to put the guests. A reunion where the house sleeps six and eleven are coming. A jobsite a long way from a hotel. A remodel with the kitchen torn out.
A trailer answers all of those the same way. It is a place to sleep, cook, and clean up that shows up where you need it.
What a trailer is good for
- Weddings and family events. Somewhere for the wedding party to get ready, or for the people who traveled in to sleep.
- Guest overflow. A bed in the driveway instead of an air mattress in the living room.
- Game weekends and race weekends. A base near the action.
- Ranch and property work. Somewhere to sleep and eat a long way from the house.
- Jobsites. A break room, an office, or a place for a crew to stay near the work.
- Remodels. A kitchen and a shower on the property while yours is torn out.
If your plan is not on the list, ask anyway. Tell us what you are planning when you request your dates.
In a driveway or on your property
We deliver it and set it up where you want it, and you use it for your dates. Tell us where the power and water are at the house, or tell us there is none, and we will tell you what to plan for.
Check your city and your HOA before you book. Rules about a trailer on a residential property vary, and that is the one thing we cannot sort out for you.
At a campground or an event site
Give us the campground and the site number, or the address and a pin for a field. For an event on private land, three things are worth thinking about ahead of time: how we get in, whether the ground stays firm, and where the trailer should sit relative to everything else that is happening.
Sort this out before your dates
- The dates, both ends. Events move. Tell us early if yours does.
- The spot. Where exactly, and how we get to it.
- Power, water, sewer. What is there and what is not.
- How many people. Every listing shows how many it sleeps. Plan on that number, not the number you can squeeze in.
- Permission. The property owner, the campground, the venue, the HOA, or the city, whichever applies to you.
How to ask
Pick a trailer and request your dates, or call us at (214) 945-4915 and describe the weekend. A request is free and it is not a booking until we confirm availability and the total price with you. Here is how delivery works if you want the details first, and the rental FAQ covers who can rent and how deposits work.
Event questions
- Can I rent a travel trailer for a wedding or a family event?
- Tell us the dates and where it is going when you request. We deliver to a campground, a venue, or private property and set it up, or you can pick it up at our lot.
- Can the trailer sit in my driveway?
- Often, yes. We deliver and set it up where you want it. Check your city rules and your HOA first, because what is allowed on a residential property varies and that part is on you rather than on us.
- Do I need hookups where the trailer is going?
- Tell us what is at your spot when you request your dates: power, water, sewer, some, or none. We will tell you what to plan for. We would rather talk it through before your dates than on the day.
- How many people can sleep in the trailer?
- Every listing shows how many it sleeps. That is the number to plan on.
